At Lawley Primary School, tennis is an important and growing sport, offered to learners during Term 1 and Term 2.

Our learners participate in a structured development pathway, starting with intra-school matches, and progressing through Cluster, District, and even Provincial level competitions based on their skill and performance. Tennis helps learners build focus, coordination, discipline, and sportsmanship—values we strongly promote at Lawley Primary.

In addition to formal competitions, we also engage in friendly matches and invitational tournaments, giving our players more opportunities to grow, compete, and represent the school with pride. All matches follow standard tennis rules and are played to completion—ensuring every game results in a clear winner.
